Set the 4 x 4 end poles approximately 90" apart center to center from end to end and 24" apart widthwise. Poles should be set approximately 3'6" into the ground. Set them level height wise and vertically true with a level. It might take some re-digging to make the holes larger than you think to set them straight up and down both directions. Fill in dirt gradually with dirt, then hose water, pack in and keep doing to get firmly set. Then drill hole 6" down from top for 1" pipe to fit through first post. Next with helper mark where next hole needs to be drilled for this pipe to be level and then drill hole. Insert pipe. It should stick out approximately 2' on one end. Repeat for second pipe making sure it is level with first pipe. Build step at end with the pipe overhang. Pipes should end up about 8' above ground and 24" apart. Try to make the pipes snug by using a tight fit drill size. If loose drive wedges or nails in to keep the pipes from spinning. Put on the 4 x 4 caps to prevent puddling water soaking into the 4 x4 from the top.
