Thought of the Month (6/09) Time to work on specific parts of the vault. June emphasis is the vault take-off. Plant tall and keep a stright trail leg swing. This allows for good penetration and is the start of successful inversion.

	Congratulations to our friend Joe Johnston on his age group world record jump of 3.77 at Clermont USATF Florida Championship meet (6/7/09). It was a thrill to see Joe jump so high.
	Congratulations to Gracie for placing 7th in 2009 Class 4A States!

Anti Gravity Pole Vault Club (USA T&F Assoc. Club #1117 in Association #14 (Florida)). Our locale is a great place to jump, learn and compete. This site is setup to help with training information, local meet information and club information. Our big event each year is our Labor Day Street Vault. Come join us and you'll have fun. We also jump in other Florida and South Georgia events held in the region. Shepherd of the Woods Lutheran Church, of which the Wilson's are members, has allowed us to construct our vault facility at their beautiful Lakeshore Property. If you are looking to join a church, come visit one of our five services. We are a friendly church and pole vault friendly to the max!

	USA Today Article lists Pole Vaulting as #3 in 10 Hardest things to do in sports. They pick race car driving and hitting a baseball as harder. We're pretty sure the writer was a frustrated Little Leaguer and dreams of being a NASCAR driver. No offense, both are challenging at an elite level, but pole vaulting is harder and more rewarding..
